If you've ever breastfed your child, you've more than likely found yourself in a situation where you've needed to nurse in public. Babies often nurse randomly, for comfort or for nourishment, and I've found myself, on more than one occasion, nursing at the grocery store, the post office, the movie theater, etc. Although nursing in public doesn't bother me in the least, I do like to maintain a sense of modesty, and Modest Momz has just the product to help!

Created by a breastfeeding mother, Modest Momz nursing ponchos really do have the features that nursing women find most desirable! Most covers simply hide your front, leaving your sides and love handles exposed, and no new mom wants all that hanging out! All Modest Momz ponchos provide an inner breast pad pocket, which is very handy, and have arm holes so you can easily access your diaper bag or, in my situation, another child who may need my attention. The material is light weight and breathable to keep your baby cool while nursing, as well, and is completely machine washable.

I've used several different brands and styles of nursing covers over the years, but all have left me wishing for something more. With the birth of my new little one approaching over the next few months, I'm very excited to begin my breastfeeding journey again with the help of Modest Momz!

"Our youngest just turned 6 weeks old. I have been searching the internet & baby boutiques (which we don't have a lot of here in Oklahoma) probably my entire pregnancy with her for a shawl that didn't expose my sides and back. I stand 5'9" so even the ones that the designer thinks would cover me is usually laughable. My mother in law got me one of those Loved Baby shawls which does at least have a front & back (that are only long enough if I'm sitting w/ bad nursing posture). The worst part of it is that it has nothing on either side so my arms & everything beneath (side of exposed breast, stomach. love handles & my brand new stretch marks) is completely exposed. I'd rather show my back in one of those Apron style ones than this. I found yours just a day or two before I ordered it.I got so excited I told probably 5 or 6 people about it before I even had a chance to order it. My husband, who is very supportive of my nursing but has become quite the pessimist when it comes to all the "must have" nursing gear told me not to get my hopes up & even measured my back from neck to waist line to ensure that the tall was going to be long enough. Anyways so I can't wait to get it & everyone I talk to even my husband is anxious to see if it is as perfect as my sales pitch would have them believe. "
